The Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards are presented by The Toy Foundation, the children’s charity affiliated with The Toy Association, the leading trade group representing the North American toy industry. The awards recognize the top toys and games of the year, as well as the people and companies that make them. Here is the full list of 2022 TOTY Award winners:

2. Collectible of the Year: LEGO Minifigures Marvel Studios (LEGO)

3. Construction Toy of the Year: LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Daily Bugle (LEGO)

4. Creative Toy of the Year: Magic Mixies Magic Cauldron (Moose Toys)

5. Doll of the Year: Ada Twist, Scientist Lab Doll (Just Play)

6. Game of the Year: A Game of Cat and Mouth (Exploding Kittens)

7. Grown-Up Toy of the Year: LEGO Botanical Collection Flower Bouquet (LEGO)

8. Infant/Toddler Toy of the Year: Fisher-Price 4-in-1 Ultimate Learning Bot (Mattel)

9. License of the Year: Pokémon (The Pokémon Company International)

10. Outdoor Toy of the Year: ZURU Crazy Bunch O Balloons (ZURU)

11. Playset of the Year: LEGO Star Wars Boba Fett's Starship (LEGO)

12. Plush Toy of the Year: Squishmallows (Jazwares)

13. Preschool Toy of the Year: LEGO Disney Ariel, Belle, Cinderella and Tiana's Storybook Adventures (LEGO)

14. Specialty Toy of the Year: LEGO Everyone is Awesome (LEGO)

15. STEM/STEAM Toy of the Year: LEGO CREATOR 3-in-1 Ferris Wheel (LEGO)

16. Vehicle of the Year: PLAYMOBIL Volkswagen T1 Camping Bus (Playmobil)

17. Toy of the Year & People's Choice: Squishmallows (Jazwares)

These winners were announced on February 18, 2022, during a virtual Toy of the Year Awards event — not at an in-person Toy Fair New York, which was cancelled that year due to COVID-19. The winners were chosen by a panel of toy industry experts, retailers, and members of the media.
